If you are unable to take immediate possession of your new residence, your belongings can be stored in a our warehouse. Weather you need to be stored for a couple of days or for a longer time Movers USA will be happy to provide you with safe and clean facilities.
A moving company and a car carrier may work hand in hand but are different services. Movers USA can assist you with this. We use a third party company.
Pets cannot be carried on the moving van. Dogs, cats, canaries and parakeets can usually be transported in the family car. If this isn’t convenient, Movers USA will be glad to suggest alternate ways to ship your pets safely.
Items of extraordinary value such as jewelry, money, photographs, antiques and stamp collections can be included in your shipment, provided you notify Movers USA of these items before packing or moving day. However, we strongly recommend that you carry irreplaceable and expensive articles with you, or make other arrangements for their transport.
Yes. Only lightweight clothing such as sweaters, shirts, blouses, and lingerie. Do not put books, jewelry, any liquids such as perfume or lotion, linens, or sheets in the drawers. Do not put anything valuable in the drawers.
You can order packing supplies directly from this site. Movers USA offers a variety of discounted packing boxes and supplies.
Most people prefer to have their household possessions, especially fragile items, professionally packed by a moving company. However, if you decide to pack these items yourself, remember that the basic principles of good packing include wrapping the items individually, providing plenty of cushioning and making sure of a firm pack.
This is the list of rules, regulations, available services and resulting charges used by all motor carriers which provide interstate transportation of household goods. The tariffs are published by each household goods motor carrier and include its various services. The tariffs are available for your inspection upon request.
Because the furnishings of the average household will not fill a van, it is often necessary for two or more shipments to be loaded on the same Truck. Each shipment is carefully sectioned off from the others. This depends on many factors, such as the time of year, weather conditions, size of your shipment, time required to load and unload, and the direction and distance your shipment is traveling.
A binding estimate or binding cost of service specifies in advance the precise cost of the move based on the services requested or deemed necessary at the time of the estimate. If additional services are requested or required at either origin or destination , the total cost will increase. Binding estimates are valid for the time period specified, up to 60 days.
It is important to remember that moving is a seasonal business with peak months being May-September. If you are planning a move during these months, we recommend making your reservation 4-6 weeks in advance. Also, the last and first few days of the month are especially busy, so please plan accordingly.
Movers USA is located in Baltimore, Maryland. Our large fleet of state-of-the-art trucks and equipment means we can provide long distance moves to 48 states and local moves to most metropolitan areas.
We do this for efficiency and to keep the costs down. We do have direct shipments available, but most customers choose to have their moves completed in a standard way so that it will be more affordable.

Any materials that are requested or used by your moving team (boxes, packing paper, tape, etc.) will be charged additionally.
Valuation protection is the maximum protection a moving company will be liable for if an item is damaged during transit. $.60/lb per item for long distance or local moves.
Most homeowner policies do not provide moving coverage. Contact your company to see if they can provide you with coverage for a special premium.
If you know that you have an item that will need to be hoisted, you will have to contact a hoisting specialist, as we do not provide such a service. We recommend you make such arrangements for a time when it will not interfere with the rest of the move.
It is against the law to transport plants across state lines. Federal Regulations allow a mover to transport plants if the trip is fewer than 15 miles. However, we cannot guarantee their safety. In general, we recommend that you make arrangements to transport your plants.
Any service that is provided in addition to the line haul is typically an additional service. These can include crating, packing, unpacking, appliance services, special handling, stairs, long carries or shuttle service if access to your residence is limited. Your moving consultant can fully explain the range of services and charges.
Yes. We will disassemble your bulky furniture and wrap it. We will take it to the new location and unwrap it and reassemble it.
Travel time is from the time we leave our location to arrive at you location and then from your final location back to our location.
Yes we do. We can either take it wish us and disposed of it or we can take it to an outside dumpster.
No. We will not take things off of the walls. Once they are on the floor we will wrap them and transport them.
Yes they will be. Our trucks have tracking devices on them and the truck remains locked until we reach the destination.
Don’t worry. We will get you belongings onto another truck as quick and safely as possible. This may result in a delay on delivering your belongings.
They are secure in the truck. Your belongings will remain wrapped and strapped down inside of the truck.
