Lower Gwynedd Township is a township in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 10,422 at the 2000 census.

The town, part of Pennsylvania's Welsh Tract, is named after the county of Gwynedd in Wales. However, local residents pronounce the town's name /'gwined/ (IPA), as if it were an English name.
